“Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are a species born trying to find creative ways to die.” - Kevin Hurley, Wild Sheep Foundation

This first-ever panel of domestic and wild sheep professionals are coming together to address one of the West’s most complicated and emotional conservation challenges: How do we protect wild sheep from herd-decimating disease when they seem hell-bent on interacting with domestic sheep?

This is the one panel at BZNCONCON without “vs.” in it’s name - it’s that much of a life or death struggle.

Given the sensitive nature of the topic in question, this session may run longer than the time allotted.

Wool growers and retailers of wool products may attend this panel for free.

Format: 90 minutes panel discussion, 30 minutes Q&A
